Mancos High School Student Council and National Honor Society are holding a toy drive for the children in our community.
The students in Mancos would like to sponsor an elementary school in Cortez to extend holiday giving to students in our neighboring school district. The toys donated will be given to students attending Manaugh Elementary School in Cortez, as well as children currently at South West Memorial Hospital.
The Toy Drive will run from Monday, Dec. 3 through Tuesday, Dec. 18. Drop Boxes will be located at the entrance of the Cortez Wal-Mart, P&D Grocery in Mancos, Mancos High School, Middle School and Elementary School. Toys donated must be new and still in the original packaging or with tags.
