The Dolores Public Library is asking the community for recommendations on how to improve library services and programs.

A two-page survey is available at the library, online at www.doloreslibrary.org, and in bright red boxes distributed at a number of locations throughout the community.

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Anyone who uses the library or who lives in the district is encouraged to complete the questionnaire. The deadline for return of surveys is June 15, 2014.

"We wanted to make it easy for people to complete the survey, so we placed them in restaurants, the post office, the bank, the town hall, and the grocery store," said Rysta Williford, library board president. "People can share their thoughts about how to improve the library's services while standing in line at the post office or waiting for their meal to be served."

The library board, director, and staff will review the results and consider all comments as they plan for the library's future. A complete report of survey responses will be available at the library by early August.
