Thank you to everyone who helped make the 20th Community Thanksgiving dinner a beautiful, calm, warm, and tasty event.
Thanks to those who donated food and funds; to the 66 (!) people who volunteered – those who cooked, deboned and prepared turkeys and made gravy; those who baked pies; those who set up, served, and cleaned up after all the happy eaters had left; those who boxed and delivered meals to the home-bound.
Thanks also to the United Methodist Church for the loan of their warming cabinet, which helped make everything run smoothly.
To all who came to take part in the meal and share their time and companionship with one another, thank you.
We are fortunate to be part of a community that comes together like this.
