The Museum of the Mancos Cowboys is open in the Bauer House. The public is invited to come see a film of Wetherill history and the many new exhibits.
Ira Bader, a sixth-grader, was the winner of this month's book award. A $15 gift certificate was donated by Mancos Car Wash.

A family dinner was hosted by Noland and Betty Alexander to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Chick and Helen Neeley. Chick and Helen were married in April 1949. (Chick passed away in 1988; Helen passed away in 2000.)
The Mancos Lodge No. 100 A.F. & A.M. donated $1,000 to Southwest Memorial Hospital to be used to purchase two lifeline units to serve the Mancos area. Jim Dickey presented the check to Chairman Sally Weaver.
Among the seniors who were graduated were Marc Ellis, Robert Bangs, Valerie Gallegos, Michael Morelli, Johnny Garcia, Kris McNeil, Jared Faulkner, Abram Martin, Melissa Zufelt, Vicki Horrocks, and others. Julio Archuleta was superintendent and Denny Gerlach was sponsor.
