Average fuel prices in Colorado were down to $2.44 per gallon from $2.61 last week.
Montezuma County averages were lower than the state average, at $2.39 per gallon.
According to the U.S. Energy Administration’s weekly fuel price report, the average price for regular gasoline as of Dec. 15 was $2.55 per gallon, down 13 cents from the previous week, and 69 cents lower than the same time last year. The West Coast and Gulf Coast prices both fell 11 cents per gallon, to $2.83 and $2.33 per gallon, respectively. The East Coast price fell 10 cents to $2.64 per gallon, the EIA says.
