The second annual Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest will take place Saturday, Aug. 13 at Cottonwood Park in Mancos. Gates open at 10 am until 7 p.m. There will be live music all day long and great food and beverages.
The Summer Brewfest is a celebration of community, organized by the Mancos Brewing Company and Mancos Valley Resources. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Mancos Valley Resources, Mancos Food Share and the Pay It Forward Fund, all groups that serve the residents of the Mancos Valley.
Music this year will include headliner Hello Dollface, The Afrobeatniks, Secondhand Strings, The Lindells and The Great Contention.
Beer for the festival will be provided by Mancos Brewing Co. and Pagosa Springs’ Riff Raff Brewing.. Guy Drew Vineyards of McElmo Canyon will be pouring wine. A children’s activity area will be offered by the Painted Turtle Studio of Mancos. The Community Grange will be holding a fundraiser farm race early on Saturday, with the race end point at Cottonwood Park,
The festival will be held in Cottonwood Park. Admission is $15 in advance, and $20 at the gate. Student tickets for age 13 to 18 cost $5, and admission is free for children 12 and under. A list of ticket outlets can be found at www.mancosbrewingcompany.com.
