Dear Editor:
As a former student and parent of two graduates of The Dolores RE4A School District, I couldnt be more proud that Dolores was named in the top 10 percent of Colorado Schools for academic performance. To continue this excellent achievement, we as a community need to make sure the teachers and students have all the necessary resources available to them. The BEST Grant gives us this opportunity at a 43 percent savings.
The Dolores School District is the largest employer in town. When education is supported by local residents, it says that we are optimistic and proud of our local school district. Thank you for voting yes for this bond.
