With the great recent snowfall, Chicken Creek Cross Country Ski Area is now open and being groomed for cross country classic style skiing and skate skiing.
Directions to the Chicken Creek trailhead - From Mancos head north, two miles on Hwy 184, then east, three miles on County Rd. 40 to the Chicken Creek Forest Service trail head parking lot.
Chicken Creek Cross Country Ski Area is maintained by our patrons, donations and volunteers. Please sign in at the trailhead and don't forget to submit your donation in the green donation box next to the sign. See you on the white stuff.
