Police seek information on graffiti, Doobie Sisters break-in

The Cortez Police have released two Crime Stoppers alerts regarding a break-in at the Doobie Sisters Marijuana Dispensary and a possible hate crime.

On Dec. 4 at 3:47 a.m. two suspects broke into the Doobie Sisters pot shop at 695 N. Broadway in Cortez. The suspects damaged the door and stole more than $3,000 of product, according to Cortez Police. Surveillance camera photos of the suspects show distinguishable camo pattern hoodie, backpacks and boots.

Also, police are seeking information regarding a possible hate crime related to graffiti written on a Community Connections bus at 325 Pine St. in Cortez on Dec. 12. Around the same time graffiti was also discovered on the outside wall of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
