The Student Community Youth Coalition would like to recognize the winners from the Jingle Bell Dash on Saturday, Dec. 15.
The Lil' Rascals from the Early Childhood Development Center were the recipients of the pledge drive for the event.
Matt Keefauver, from Cortez Middle School won the drawing for favorite teacher. Teachers were in the drawing by nomination only. Keefauver won a weekend stay at Mesa Verde National Park that included a guided tour.
Julie Bell won first place for most money raised through pledges. She received a gift certificate to Kaleidescope spa in Mancos.
The first place winner of the 5K dash was Dave Matthews. The first place winners for the one mile were father and daughter team, Chuck and Gillian Story. The winners for the dash all received Osprey packs.
