Tuesday, Sept. 11

2:45 p.m.: A man at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a Delta County warrant.

2:45 p.m.: A man who was contacted in the parking lot at City Market, 508 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of theft after he allegedly stole a misplaced wallet at Medicine Man. The theft suspect gave the officer $891 in cash that he said had been in the wallet. The wallet, which apparently belonged to a man from Ghana, was found in a bush in the 400 block of North St.

3:30 p.m.: A man was arrested at the Travel Lodge, 1120 E. Main St., on suspicion of DUI and driving without a license after he allegedly crashed a motel employee’s car.

3:52 p.m.: A woman was arrested for third-degree assault and violating an alcohol-related bond condition after allegedly beating up a woman in City Park, 803 E. Montezuma Ave. The victim was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital, but she refused treatment.

7:08 p.m.: An officer responded to a call about an unconscious woman in a public restroom in the 500 block of N. Mildred Road, and found a second woman on top of her. The second woman was found to be carrying a knife with a 5-inch blade and was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon and an outstanding warrant. Medics treated the other woman, who was intoxicated.

11:58 p.m.: A man was pulled over after coasting through a stop sign at E. Empire St. and N. Mildred Road and cited for driving without a license and running a stop sign.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

3:35 a.m.: A man was detained on suspicion of first-degree trespass and underage consumption after a resident in the 100 block of S. Madison St. identified him as a suspect in a vehicle break-in.
