Saturday, Dec. 3

7:18 p.m.: A deputy investigating an automobile crash near County Roads F and 25 retrieved evidence from the vehicle and gave it to a Colorado State patrol officer, who was with the suspected driver at Southwest Memorial Hospital.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

5:17 p.m.: A driver was apprehended near County Road N and U.S. 491 after he had allegedly been involved in an incident involving a rifle at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road.

Thursday, Dec. 15

10:55 a.m.: A man was remanded to the Montezuma County jail by District Court, 109 Main St.

12:53 p.m.: A man reported that the woodpile in his yard, at 16500 County Road 30.4, had caught fire. Crews from the Dolores Fire Protection District assisted in extinguishing the fire.

3:01 p.m.: A man was served two warrants while in custody at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3 p.m.: A woman was served a warrant while in custody at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:07 p.m.: A woman reported that her neighbor’s horse had been fatally injured with a bullet wound at a residence in the 10400 block County Road 39. The sheriff’s office is awaiting ballistics evidence.

Friday, Dec. 16

3:26 a.m.: A driver who had been pulled over for speeding in the 4000 clock of U.S. 160 was arrested on suspicion of DUI. His vehicle was believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run in Towaoc.

8:58 p.m.: A person was served a warrant while in custody at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:05 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

5:22 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Dec. 17

8:36 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at a residence in the 23500 block of County Road F.5 after a report of a public disturbance. A woman at the residence was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence after allegedly punching the man about 10 times.

Sunday, Dec. 18

8:28 a.m.: Firefighter extinguished a fire at a residence in 35400 block of County Road J.8 in Mancos.

12:11 p.m.: A woman who was turning herself in was arrested on a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:10 p.m.: A missing man from Montrose was found walking in the town of Dolores was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital with frostbite. The man said his vehicle had slid off the road and that he had been stranded for days.

1:30 a.m.: A woman was arrested at the Pleasant View Post Office on suspicion of false reporting after she repeatedly claimed that her daughter had been abused.

1:20 a.m.: A man was served a warrant while in custody at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.
