Madison VanBibber swam to a second-place finish in the 50-meter freestyle last Friday in Montrose.
Her effort helped the Montezuma-Cortez High School swimming team place fifth at the Montrose High Invitational.
VanBibber's time of 27.96 is a season best. Her fifth-place time in the 100-free of 1:03.70 is also a season high.
Emily Harris came in fourth in the 500-free at 6:35.67, while also placing fifth in the 200-free at 2:26.15.
Elana Cope was fourth-place in the 100-meter butterfly in 1:16.70.
VanBibber, Harris, Cope and Sera King swam to a second-place time of 1:58.12 in the 200-meter relay.
The Lady Panthers will swim Friday at the Delta Invitational beginning at 4:30 p.m.
