The Dolores Town Board is expected to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at Town Hall, 420 Central Ave. Board members are expected to have a public hearing on a new ordinance that will make it illegal to consume marijuana on town property.
Board members are also expected to consider an ordinance that prohibits the consumption of alcohol for people between the ages of 18 and 20, something that is already illegal, but the ordinance will make it easier to enforce the consumption of alcohol on town property, Town Manager Ryan Mahony said.
Dolores School District Superintendent Scott Cooper is expected to present an offer on the old town maintenance yard and they board will consider a liquor license renewal for the Giant.
Red Wagon Energy is also expected to give a presentation.
