The Mancos Junior class will be hosting a Navajo Taco dinner on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. Dinner is $5 per person, which includes a Navajo taco and a drink.
Following the dinner, stop by the elementary school from 6 to 7 p.m. for Mancos PTA's annual "Snuggle Up and Read" night to promote "Read Across America". Wear your pj's, bring a pillow, blanket, and snuggle up with a teacher. There will be a dessert auction happening during "Snuggle Up & Read". This is a great family event and free to attend; however, remember your wallet to purchase a Navajo taco from the junior class to raise money for prom and a wonderful dessert from the PTA's dessert auction to raise money for PTA.
