To the editor:
Chickens are great! No one is proposing a ban. Consideration is the issue. Nine feet from one's window and back dining porch is absurd. This includes roosters and geese that are penned there. The west still lives in Cortez and Dolores and they have an ordinance that defines setbacks for chickens. It's that simple. Just say yes to Consideration.
