Soup for you!
Good soup for a good cause - now that sounds like a great Friday night!
From 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, Grace's Kitchen and St. Barnabas Episcopal Church will host the sixth annual Soups of the World and live dessert auction. The event helps raise funds for the Bridge Emergency Shelter.
Soup recipes from various regions around the world will be available at Grace's Kitchen at 110 West North St. in Cortez. Tickets, available at the door, are $10; kids 5 and under are free.
And what could be better after savoring bountiful bowls of soup? Dessert, of course.
A live dessert auction will be held around 6 p.m. with Montezuma County Commissioner Larry Don Suckla serving as auctioneer.
