Wintry spring sports

Snow flies as the Montezuma-Cortez High School baseball team shovels the infield of McAndrew Field Tuesday. Practice for spring sports started Monday. The track team decided to remain indoors and hit the weight room Tuesday, while the girls soccer team had a mostly clear practice field by the post office, and the snow had melted off the courts at Parque de Vida for the girls tennis team. Competition for some of the teams will begin next week.
