Victoria Acker of Southlake, Texas was placed on the President's List at Texas University in Lubbock, Texas for receiving a 4.0 grade point average for the fall semester. Victoria is one of a small group of elite students whose academic performance has earned her the privilege of being nominated for membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). Less than 10 percent of students at Texas Tech University receive this honor each year. As a member of NSCS, Victoria joins a prestigious group of students nationwide including more than a dozen Rhodes Scholars and nearly 200 Fulbright Scholars. Victoria is the daughter of Mark and Cara Acker of Southlake, Texas and the granddaughter of Jim and Ila Starks of Cortez.
