Southwest Cowbelles offers agricultural scholarships
The Southwest Cowbelles are offering two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. All applicants must be pursuing an agricultural field of study, and must be from Dolores and Montezuma counties. Applications are available at area high schools and from the Southwest Cowbelles. Scholarship applications are due by Monday, April 15. Contact Lisa Tozer at 565-2636 for additional information.
Knights Memorial Scholarship
Directions and applications for the 2013 Knights Memorial Scholarship are now available at the Montelores Catholic Community Office, 28 E. Montezuma, Cortez, and may be downloaded from www.montelorescatholic.org. Applications can also be emailed by request by calling Bill Hagen at 882-2370 or 560-2426.
The scholarship is open to any member of the Montelores Catholic Community who has graduated, or will graduate this year, from a local area high school and who plans to enroll, or is enrolled, in an accredited post secondary educational institution. For more information, call Bill Hagen. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, April 5.
Dean Hanson Scholarship applications available
Six $1,000 scholarships are available from the Dean Hanson Memorial Scholarships presented by the Four Corners Board of Realtors for traditional and non-traditional students who are a resident of Montezuma or Dolores counties.
Deadline for scholarship applications is April 15. Applications need to be turned in to the Four Corners Board of Realtors at 925 South Broadway, Suite 222 in Cortez, emailed to fcboardofrealtors@gmail.com, or drop off at the counselor's office. Applications are also available at www.fourcornersboardofrealtors.com, the counselor's office in the high schools in Montezuma and Dolores counties or at the Board of Realtors office.
