6:46 a.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence on the 40000 block of U.S. Highway 160 in Mancos. A woman said the man hit her in the face, leaving a bruise.
9:16 a.m.: A man at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
9:13 p.m.: A man who exited the driver’s seat during a traffic stop on the 2000 block of E. Main St. in Cortez was held gunpoint. The driver was arrested for driving on a revoked license. He is a habitual traffic offender.
Friday, Feb. 1
10:39 a.m.: A man was arrested for violating a protection order while walking along U.S. Highway 160 near milepost 28. He was walking with the victim in the protection order. He also had two whiskey shooters and a marijuana pipe, which also violated the protection order.
4:37 p.m.: An intoxicated woman was arrested at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., for violating a protection order that states she cannot consume alcohol.
10:33 p.m.: A woman reported damage to her car on the 25000 block of County Road M. The windshield was shattered, and someone had scratched “WORE” into the hood of the car. The headlights and taillights were broken, and it appeared someone had poured sugar in the gas tank. A deputy couldn’t reach an ex-boyfriend.
Saturday, Feb. 2
9:09 p.m.: A man and woman at the Rio Grande Southern Hotel, 101 S. Fifth St. in Dolores, were cited for disorderly conduct after several similar complaints.
Sunday, Feb. 3
6:51 a.m.: A 1999 Mazda B2500 pickup with Illinois plates was abandoned on the 35000 block of Colorado Highway 184 for at least two days. It was towed.
2:46 p.m.: A man was arrested for DUI on the 24000 block of County Road E.5. He stopped the vehicle and said, “I am going to jail.” There was an open case of Bud Light between the rear passenger seats.
1:02 p.m.: A man on the 22000 block of County Road G reported a lost or stolen rear license plate.
5:50 p.m.: A man with several felony convictions was arrested for felony possession of a firearm near Ninth St. and Railroad Ave. in Dolores. Once in a patrol vehicle, he hit his head into the cage and said he was having a heart attack.
Monday, Feb. 4
8:03 p.m.: A man in the booking area of Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a failure to appear warrant.
12:10 p.m.: A woman was remanded into custody at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
