The 9HealthFair, sponsored by Denver's 9News, is coming to Southwest Colorado next month. The traveling health fair will make three stops in the area: April 13 at Mancos High School, April 27 at the Cortez Recreation Center and May 4 at Dove Creek High School. Hours for each location are 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Southwest Memorial Hospital is a partner to the 9HealthFair, and is seeking other local health care providers and practitioners to help administer screenings, diagnostic tests and checkups.
At the fair, visitors can find a range of health services, including blood pressure readings, blood draws and analysis, colon cancer screenings and body mass index measurements. Some services are free, and others cost between $15-40.
