This year, the Spring Banquet is going tropical! Can you smell the ocean? Can you hear the waves crashing on the beach? Get out your hula skirts, and ukuleles, we are going Hawaiian for the 2012 Annual Dolores Chamber of Commerce Spring Banquet. Our Spring Banquet to provide scholarships for the graduating seniors from Dolores High School is set for April 27 at the Dolores Community Center. The theme will be that of a Hawaiian Luau. Contact any board member or me to get tickets. Bar opens at 6 p.m. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.

The 10th Annual Dolores River Festival is fast approaching....
The Festival's Annual Great Outdoors Silent Auction Fundraiser and Mountain Film on Tour event will be on Friday April 26, 2013, and the 10th Annual Dolores River Festival will be on Saturday June 1, 2013.

Everything must go. They are cleaning out all the storage sheds of previous owners and tenants.
Karla's Kitchen is now open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Their new dinner menu is great. They now have steaks for $15.95. You can get t-bone, porter house, rib-eye with baked potato, side salad and dinner rolls. Do you have any stunning pictures of our area laying around or proudly displayed somewhere? Well, the Montezuma County Amateur Photo Contest is looking for both photos and businesses willing to display these photos. This is being hosted by the Dolores, Mancos and Cortez Area Chambers of Commerce.
The contest is open to amateurs only. A professional is defined as one whose primary source of income (50 percent) or more results from his/her photographic work. The purpose of this contest is to generate a photo library for use by the local Chambers of Commerce for the promotion of the Montezuma County area. Three photographs will be selected as first, second and third place. The winners will get cash prizes. Contact the Chamber for more at 882-4018.
Welcome to our initial instillation of the Dolores business spotlight. The Depot will be our 1st business spotlighted. The Depot was built in 1982 by Julian Sainz. The current owner, Patsy Sainz, bought it from her brother in May of 2010. The name "The Depot" name comes from being on Railroad Ave. and being across the street from the Galloping Goose Museum. The Depot employs 3-8 local people depending on the time of year. Right now all of the employees live here in Dolores. Besides their great breakfasts, burgers and Mexican food the Depot also offers catering as Mustard Seed Catering.
We want to welcome our three newest chamber members: The Depot where you can get great burgers, malts and Mexican food; Habitat for Humanity and J & J's Auto Shop and Four Corners Unique Conversions located next to Karla's Kitchen. Let's show them our support and stop in and see them.
