Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project will be at the Dolores River Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 1. Learn about MORP’s work, including the upcoming Dolores Community Heritage Orchard, which will be planted at Joe Rowell Park.
At MORP’s booth, sign up to be a volunteer to help establish the orchard this summer. MORP will put up deer fencing and will plant heritage apple trees. Heritage apple trees will also be for sale at the festival. They are grown naturally in 3-gallon pots and will easily fit in a standard sized vehicle.
