Saturday, May 25

8: 51 p.m. A deputy was called to the 20700 block of Road W.5 about an accident on private property. A woman in a Toyota 4-Runner had hit a parked Honda Accord. The women involved exchanged business cards.

Tuesday, May 28

4:48 p.m. A deputy served an arrest warrant to a man incarcerated at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, May 29

6:09 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a woman incarcerated at the Montezuma County Detention Center.

11:40 a.m. A deputy was called to the 41700 block of U.S. Highway 184 about the theft of a firearm. Information about the stolen fire arm was entered into a computer databank.

2:59 p.m. A deputy stopped a Neon that appeared to have expired license plates. The woman driving the vehicle said she had placed fictitious license plates on the vehicle, and the license plates belonged to her cousin. The vehicle did not have insurance and the woman had an canceled driver’s license. The woman was arrested and issued a summons for driving with a canceled license, driving without valid insurance and driving with fictitious license plates. She was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Thursday, May 30

9:40 a.m. A deputy was called to the Ute Mountain Casino, 1 E. Mike Wash Road, about a theft. A man reported his license plate had been stolen from his commercial vehicle trailer.

2:14 p.m. A deputy observed a Dodge Durango with a Utah license plate back into a Ford F-350 pickup. A man driving the Durango was issued a citation for backing unsafely.

Sunday, June 2

9:20 p.m. A deputy was called to the City Park, 608 N. Park St., about a woman who wanted to turn herself in. The woman was arrested on an active warrant out of San Juan County, New Mexico.

10:45 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman on an active warrant in the 8000 block of County Road 25. The woman was left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

Monday, June 3

8:51 a.m. A deputy served two outstanding warrants to a man in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St. The man was left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

Monday, June 3

11:17 a.m. A deputy was called to the 24400 block of County Road G.1 about the theft of electricity. A woman was arrested on two outstanding warrants. She also had a small bag of powder that was determined to be methamphetimine. She was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. The woman was left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

1:23 p.m. A deputy served an outstanding warrant to a man who was incarcerated in the Montezuma County Detention Center.

2:43 p.m. A deputy served an outstanding warrant to a man who was incarcerated in the Montezuma County Detention Center.

2:45 p.m. A deputy served an outstanding warrant to a woman at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The woman was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

4:34 p.m. A deputy was called to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to transport a man to jail to serve his sentence. The man was left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

8:06 p.m. A deputy was called to the 500 block of Railroad Avenue in Dolores on suspicious activity. A woman was issued a summons for driving with a license under restraint. A man was arrested on three felony warrants. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
