Rifle raffle

Nick Delay of Aztec, N.M., was the winner of a June 8 Southwestern Cowbelles raffle drawing for a Panther .223 rifle. All money went to the organization's scholarship fund. Runner-up winners of beef gift certificates were Scott Twilley of Cortez and Travis Inez of Hesperus. Scholarships are presented annually to high school graduates who plan agriculture-related careers.
