The annual Mancos Days celebration was filled with sun, love, and Beatles over this past weekend.

This was the 60th anniversary for the event, which features three days of celebrations and competitions taking over downtown streets and Boyle Park. The theme was “All You Need is Love.”

The festivities included old favorites like the Cattlemen’s Ranch Rodeo and classic car show, along with new traditions like the first annual water pong tournament. Saturday morning kicked off with a pancake breakfast at P&D Grocery, a fun run, and the annual parade, starring flower-strewn floats, groovy apparel, and a handful of cut-out Beatles heads.

This year’s Mancos Days queen was longtime resident Roma Ewing.
