This week is homecoming week at Mancos High School. The Bluejays' opponent will be the Nucla Mustangs, and the parade theme is "Operation Break the Mustangs."

Wednesday, Sept. 18
"Cartoon Day" Dress Up Theme Day - Judging at 10:40-11:09 a.m. in Historic Gym, third period.
Peach Fuzz Volleyball at 6:30 p.m. - Performance Center.
Powder Puff Football immediately after Peach Fuzz - Football Field.
Thursday, Sept. 19
"Class Choice Day" Dress Up Theme Day - Judging 3:12-3:42 p.m. in Historic Gym, seventh period.
Bonfire at Football Field, 7 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 20
"Blue & White Day" Dress Up Theme Day - Judging 11:48 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. in Historic Gym, fourth period.
Float Assembly on trailers -12:10-1:20 p.m., fourth and fifth periods.
Pep-Assembly - 1:30-2:30 p.m., Historic Gym, K-12 invited.
Homecoming Parade - 3 p.m. - Line up at Boyle Park at 2:45 p.m.
Volleyball - Nucla at Mancos, 4 p.m.
Booster Tailgate Party - 5:30 p.m. at Football Field. Menu: Hamburger plates for $7 and hotdog plates for $5. Plates will include hamburger or hot dog, chips, beans, dessert and drink.
Football - Nucla at Mancos, 7 p.m.
Crowning Ceremony - halftime at the 50 yard line.
Saturday, Sept. 21
Cross Country - Mancos at Pagosa Springs.
Middle School Volleyball - Ignacio and Ridgway at Mancos, 10 a.m.
Homecoming Dance - 7:30-11:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Admission is $15 for singles and $20 for couples.
