Dispatch advised that the woman was on pre-trial release and was prohibited from possessing or consuming any alcoholic beverages and prohibited from additional offenses. Dispatch advised police to respond to a residence for a disturbance. The woman who called about the disturbance said she kicked her son out of her house the night before because he was stealing her medication. The woman said her son had slept on the porch overnight, and when she got up that morning she opened the door and saw him on the porch. The woman said her son started yelling at her, and she told him to leave. Instead of leaving, he shoved her, went into the house and “started raising hell”, she said she was scared of her son because he was violent, and she wanted to pursue charges. The officer tried to talk to the son, but he was not cooperating and kept calling the officer Osama, Obama or Luther. The man was very twitchy, and said he was a preacher and that the officer should go to church, but the church wouldn’t take him. After the man had been arrested he told the officer that he was “cash” and that he was going to sue the officer. The man was charged with harassment.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

Police responded to the Conoco gas station in reference to a male causing a disturbance. The woman who called the police said she was standing inside working at the counter when a man came inside and told her that he needed an ambulance because his tongue had been bitten off. She said the man then spit on the counter and walked outside. The man told police that his tongue was bitten off by somebody across the street, but he would not say who did it. The officer observed a small cut on the man’s tongue. The man could not explain why he spit on the counter in the gas station and seemed very confused and had slurred speech and smelled of an unknown alcoholic beverage. The man was taken into custody and served with a summons for disturbing the peace.
