Tuesday, Oct. 1

12:47 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a female inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:45 a.m. An officer was called to the Happy Valley Trailer Park, 203 E. Seventh Street, for a vandalism report. An officer took a report about a mailbox that had been pried open from the back.

10:55 a.m. An officer observed a man with active warrants in the 800 block of Main Street. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

3:20 p.m. An officer served an outstanding warrant to a woman in the 400 block of South Linden Street. The woman was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

3:47 p.m. An officer was called to the initial block of South Madison Street about a vandalism report. Someone had spray-painted graffiti on two sides of a rental structure. The officer filed a report.

Thursday, Oct. 3

12:19 a.m. An officer filed a report about a domestic dispute involving a sister and brother versus another woman. The brother reportedly slapped the woman and threw a wire basket at a door, breaking the door. The brother and sister left the residence. The officer filed a report noting damage to the home.

10:22 a.m. An officer was on foot patrol in the 1300 block of East Main Street when he observed two men with active warrants. Both men were arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

10:38 p.m. An officer was called to the Happy Valley Trailer Park, 203 E. Seventh St. A vehicle had hit a trailer and broken a window. The officer filed a report.

11:53 p.m. An officer was called to the 800 block of South Broadway about a report of a drunken driver. The officer pulled over a Buick Encore after observing it drive erratically, including maintaining a 15 mph speed in a 45 mph zone. The female declined to perform roadside sobriety tests and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The woman had at least five DUI convictions, and her license had been revoked. She was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center on a felony investigation hold for three or more DUI convictions, and the officer also intended to request chargers on driving with a revoked license.

Friday, Oct. 4

3:32 p.m. An officer was dispatched to City Market, 508 E. Main St., about a report of a trespass violation. A man was issued a summons for violating a trespass notice.

7:31 p.m. An officer was called about a reported disturbance in the Oak Meadows Trailer Park, 405 W. Seventh St. A woman appeared to have suffered a broken nose during a domestic fight. The officer was attempting to locate the man suspected of the assault and seek a warrant for the man’s arrest.

9:23 p.m. An officer was called to the Best Western Motel, 535 E. Main St. about a minor traffic accident in the parking lot. The officer filed a report after one car sustained damage to a bumper.
