Library offers screening, Q&A on Latino education

Mancos Public Library in partnership with ITVS Community Cinema and Rocky Mountain PBS celebrates Latino students overcoming obstacles with a free preview screening of "Latino Graduates."

They also will have a community discussion to engage the public in dialogue about the Latino dropout crisis, followed by an inter-generational conversation about strategies to increase and support pathways to success for local students at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. The event will take place at the Mancos Public Library, Community Meeting Room, 211 West First Street.
