Monday, Oct. 28

8:20 p.m. A deputy was called to the emergency room at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, about a report of an assault that had occurred in the 26100 block of County Road P. A brother and sister had got into a confrontation. The deputy could not determine who the instigation party was and no citations were issued.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

9:24 a.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

10:02 a.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a female inmate at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. The woman was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

10:45 a.m. A deputy issued two active warrants to a male inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:52 a.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

2:26 p.m. A deputy was dispatched Woody Fuel Station, 174 U.S. Highway 160 about a shoplifting report. The employee identified a shoplifter. The manager said she did not want to pursue charges after a man left with two 40-ounce bottles of beer without paying for them.

Friday, Nov. 1

1:44 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 244000 block of County Road G.1 to issue an active warrant to a man. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

1:51 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 Driscoll St., to issue an active warrant to a male inmate.

3:25 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. to issue an active warrant to a man. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

11:02 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 40700 block of U.S. Highway 160 about a report of a fight. An intoxicated woman and a man were separated after a confrontation. Neither party wanted to press charges. However, during the investigation, the woman kicked another deputy in the crotch. When deputies attempted to arrest her, she was uncooperative. Eventually, deputies tased the woman. She was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault on a peace officer and taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital for medical clearance. After she was medically cleared, she was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.

Saturday, Nov. 2

1:30 p.m. A deputy issued an active warrant to a male inmate at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:45 a.m. A deputy was called to the 39600 block of Colorado Highway 184 about a structure fire. Upon arrival, the deputy saw several people trying to clear an equine tack shed that was beginning to burn. Two chicken coops were destroyed and the tack shed damaged. The deputy took photographs. A fire investigation determined the blaze was started by an electrical short circuit.

Monday, Nov. 4

12:47 p.m. A deputy was called to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. to issue to active warrants to a man and to remand the man into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.

6:55 p.m. A deputy was called to Ute Mountain Casino about a report of a shoplifting. Employees reported a man had stolen a bag of chips. The man had been issued a trespass notice banning him from the casino. The man was transported to Bridge shelter by a deputy. The suspect was not cited.
