Wednesday, Sept. 7

10:40 a.m.: A woman reported that she had been bitten by a tourist’s dog on Sept. 4 in the Retro Inn parking lot, 2040 E. Main St., and the dog’s owner, who was a tourist, agreed by phone to follow rabies protocol and confine the dog and contact police if it became sick or died.

1:13 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.

2:25 p.m.: A woman requested that an officer stand by while she collected her daughter’s belongings from a home in the 2700 block of Golf Course Drive, from which the daughter had a restraining order.

4:07 p.m.: A woman was arrested on two warrants at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.

7:34 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant in the parking lot of City Market, 508 E. Main St.

11:17 p.m.: A man was arrested for possessing an open container of alcohol after he had passed out lying across a sidewalk in the 100 block of E. Main St.

Thursday, Sept. 8

10:15 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant in the restroom at City Park, 20 N. Park St.

9:16 a.m.: A woman was served a warrant at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:45 a.m.: A man was arrested at the bonding door of the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:41 p.m.: A man was sought for criminal mischief after his damaged alcohol-monitoring anklet was found in the 10 block of N. Madison St.

5:44 p.m.: A man was served a summons at an apartment complex in the 500 block of S. Madison St. for “throwing missiles” after allegedly throwing an object at a car in a traffic dispute.
