KSJD radio personalities will make their way to Mancos on Monday for a special storytelling presentation.

Sponsored by the Mount Lookout Grange, the presentation centers on KSJD's Story Vault program - a local resource for sharing and preserving family and oral histories. Free and open to the public, the 7 p.m. meeting is held at Grange Hall, 680 Grand Avenue.

Presenters include KSJD programming and media director Tom Yoder; Montezuma Mixtape Show producers and hosts Ian Mott and Greg Harpel; and KSJD Story Vault coordinators Kellie Pettijohn, Harrison Topp and Liz Bohm.

"We will be sharing our love of storytelling and why it matters," said Bohm. "As the Montezuma Mixtape guys say, 'a small town county is, without exception, full of big stories.' We want Mancos to share their stories."

The day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 29th, is The National Day of Listening, a national holiday started by StoryCorps to encourage the sharing of stories between friends and family. KSJD's Story Vault is a uniquely designed studio that is free to the public.

Direct from downtown Cortez, KSJD community radio is broadcast across the Four Corners and can be heard in Mancos on 91.1 FM. Info: www.kjsd.org.
