Tuesday, Feb. 4
10:21 p.m. The office responded to the 100 block of South Main Street for an active disturbance and found a man had choked a woman during an argument. The man was arrested and taken to the Montezuma County Jail for third-degree assault and domestic violence.
Thursday, Feb. 6
10:12 p.m. A deputy assisted the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office on a traffic contact at County Road 39 and U.S. Highway 160. One woman was arrested on several drug warrants, and narcotic paraphernalia was found at the scene.
