SouthWest Colorado Concerts Inc. presents a “Celebrate! Local Musicians” concert on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Montezuma-Cortez High School auditorium. The concert combines the sounds of young and old as the Mancos Valley Chorus joins the M-CHS concert and chamber choirs.
“It has long been a vision of the concert board to introduce our local students to fine music and to feature musicians from our area,” SouthWest Colorado Concerts said in a press release. “Most every artist we bring to town conducts a workshop to foster musical growth in our middle school and high school youth. Each ‘Celebrate! Local Musicians’ concert features some of this young talent.”
The concert is free, but donations are accepted.
