The Montezuma County Planning and Zoning Commission has openings for planning and zoning board members. The term of the appointment will be three- or two-year terms. Member’s duties include at least one monthly meeting, as well as special work sessions.
Applicants should be prepared to attend all of the meetings and work sessions.
Anyone interested in serving should submit a Planning and Zoning Board Vacancy Application, which can be found online at www.co.montezuma.co.us along with a letter of interest to the Montezuma County Planning Department, Attention: Susan Carver, 109 West Main, Room 305, Cortez, CO 81321, by Friday, Dec. 27, 2013.
Letters of interest should briefly outline why the applicant is interested in serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission and the background and interests they will bring to the Land Use Planning Process.
