To celebrate the start of its 31st year in business, Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply plans to open the doors to its new store location in Cortez .

Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply is based in Gallup, N.M., with satellite locations in Cortez and Durango.

The past 12 months have brought big and exciting changes for Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply. From the addition of two nitrogen tankers to its fleet to the acquisition of a neighboring property in Cortez, Four Corners Welding made strides to remain ahead of the curve and stay responsive to its customers needs. The 7,000-square-foot building, at 101 N. Broadway Ave., has tripled the company’s showroom area and includes a fitting room.

“We appreciate our Cortez clients, many of whom have remained loyal to us since we moved to the area in 1987,” said Amber Chisamore, vice president. “We are thrilled to have a bright new store location offering the latest in industrial safety supplies, trailer components, whip flags and high visibility apparel and gear.”

Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply will host its official grand opening from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, and Saturday, Jan. 18. During the two-day celebration, shoppers can enjoy live demonstrations and complimentary refreshments.

Demonstrations will include welding by Miller Electric Manufacturing Co., grinding by United Abrasives, power tool presentations from DeWalt, as well as plasma cutting and quick solder rings for plumbing.

Product experts also will be on site to showcase new safety products that Four Corners Welding & Gas Supply will carry year-round.

The Cortez location is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
