Maddy Mahaffey of Dolores recently received the Crown-Goodman Presidential Scholarship from Colorado College at its annual Honors Convocation, held virtually May 14.
The traditional ceremony celebrates outstanding students, faculty and staff, and includes the bestowing of departmental awards, all-college awards and awards from the CC Student Government Association.
Mahaffey is a junior and comparative literature major at Colorado College.
