Why are you running for town board?I believe if you live in town, it’s important to take part in the community. I feel it’s my turn.

What experience do you bring to the table?I’ve been involved in large construction projects and it has taught me efficiency and how to manage large budgets. I bring a business point of view to the board.

What is your occupation? Age?I own a concrete constructing company, and will be 55 in April so everyone still has time to shop!

What do you hope to accomplish as a town board member?I’d like to help bridge the gap between what we want and what we need. Prioritizing our needs is most important, and if we are efficient, then we can do projects that we want.

What has Dolores town government done well in recent years? Our utilities are up to date, and our road maintenance has improved. Those guys are doing a good job, and are doing more work with less.

In what ways do you think town government could improve Dolores?I believe the community should get more involved in town. A town improves the more people participate, plus it makes things go smoother.

Do you have a vision for the future of Dolores?I’d like to get more kids and young adults involved in town activities and events. It’s important too instill a sense of pride and involvement with the younger generation because we will be passing the town onto them.
