Victor Duran, her high school sweetheart and husband of 22 years, keeps it simple. “She’s just a hardworking person,” he says.
Working as an accountant from home allows Duran to facilitate school for her children, who take classes through a private online school.
Duran said that home-schooling has allowed Candace to make every moment at home a teaching moment. The two also work very hard to keep the environment positive and don’t allow their children to use negative words like stupid and dumb, Victor said.
In addition, to home-schooling she works from home as a self-employed accountant and has clients all over the world.
She is gifted with a trait that many other moms will relate to.
“She doesn’t require a lot of sleep,” Duran said.
