Business networking is important to our small-business community. It helps us all to stay informed about what is going on in Mancos. It also provides business owners the opportunity to share ideas about marketing and business development.

The Mancos Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer our members the opportunity to meet, greet, and share ideas and business referrals.

The Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a "Business Network" at Integrity Glass, 307 W. Menefee in Mancos on Wednesday, May 21 at 6 p.m. It's your opportunity to stay informed about Mancos Valley business activity.

Cheers to the half-marathon

The Mancos Cowboy Half Marathon was a very successful event. Ben Hahn, race director, was pleased with the number of runners who participated in this inaugural event. He said that he plans on doing it again next year. Many of the runners said that they plan to return. Everyone had a great time. I noticed that people were downtown shopping and checking out the offerings at the Absolute Bakery, Fahrenheit Coffee Roasters and the Millwood. Will Stone had a wagon out and was busy giving visitors rides around town. He expressed his appreciation to Lynne and Perry Lewis from Rimrock Outfitters for the loan of the wagon.
