Kudos to Marc Meyer, Southwest Health System, Montezuma County Health Department and Axis Health System for getting so many of us vaccinated against COVID-19 so quickly. A big thank- you also goes to all the volunteers behind the scenes who have diligently been making phone calls to set up appointments for folks, the nurses who wielded the needles and to the volunteers who were on the scene helping everyone to maneuver safely through the whole procedure. Your professionalism and efficiency are truly appreciated.
After watching the long lines of people in other communities waiting for hours to maybe get vaccinated, my husband and I feel blessed to be living here where the whole process was relatively simple for us. We are scheduled for our second shot soon and are looking forward to returning to somewhat of a more “normal” life afterward.
