Cortez Middle School sports set to begin
Cortez Middle School will be holding fall sports signups on Aug. 6 in the middle school cafeteria from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Middle school football practice will begin on Aug. 6 at 4:30 p.m. Middle school volleyball practice will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.
All students wanting to participate in Cortez Middle School sports must have a physical dated after May 31, show proof of insurance and pay an activity fee.

Football camp to take place in Dolores
A free football camp will take place at Dolores High School, Aug. 5-7. Registration will take place at the Dolores High School football field at 8:30 a.m.
The camp is for players entering the sixth, seventh and eighth grades.
