Southwest Softball accepts registrations
Southwest Softball is currently accepting registrations for its Summer Softball League. Fees range from $25 to $65 per player. T-ball is offered for girls bewteen the ages of 4 to 6 and softball is offered for girls between the ages of 7 and 16.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Cortez Rec Center, Hibbetts Sports or Tullis Chiropractic. Forms can also be downloaded at www.southwestsoftball.weebly.com. For more information, contact Nate Wilkinson at 970-570-6136.
Rifle raffle to benefit KC Davis
The Dolores Pee-Wee Wrestling Club and the Cortez Elks Lodge are sponsoring a raffle for a Save Arms Model .223 Predator Hunter with a 4x12 Nikon scope.
Proceeds from the raffle will be used to help Dolores High School basketball player KC Davis attend the Down Under Sports Tournament in Australia.
Single tickets can be purchased for $10 and five tickets can be purchased for $40. The drawing will be held on Feb. 13.

Cortez Wrestling Club accepts registrations
The Cortez Wrestling Club is currently taking registrations for the 2015 pee-wee wrestling season. Children must be born between 2001 and 2010. Sign-ups will take place on Jan. 24 and Jan. 31 at 9 a.m. and on Feb. 5 from 5-7 p.m. at the Cortez Rec Center. Registration cost is $85. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Practices will begin on Feb. 9.

Little League Baseball accepts registrations
Registration is now open for Little League Baseball in Southwest Colorado. Baseball is open to all children ages 4-15. Cost varies from $55 to $105 according to age. Register by Feb. 14 to save money. Registration closes March 8. Registration forms can be downloaded from cortezlittleleague.com or picked up at the Rec Center, or Hibbetts.
