Support the Dolores Secondary PTO at the Dolores Community Center. PTO will serve crock pot meals, bread and coffee at the 4th annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival for the Montezuma Land Conservancy. Sunday, Feb. 8

Mancos Pizza, located in the P&D Grocery Store 280 Highway 160 West Frontage Road, Mancos, will host a fundraiser Feb. 8 all day for two local families. Pete Loyd, owner of P&D Grocery, said that 50 percent of the sales of all pizza on Feb. 8 will be donated to the family Hayden Kocourek, a local teenager who needs a kidney transplant and has had to travel back and forth between Denver and Gary Baker, who is also experiencing medical problems. Open riding hours at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds indoor arena have been extended until 9 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, from Oct. 20 to the end of the year. User must have a Horseman card with the fairgrounds and are encouraged to call 565-1000 before arriving to confirm open riding hours.
