The Montezuma-Cortez High School boys basketball team finished its season with a 53-32 loss to Montrose on Feb. 19.
With the loss, the Panthers were eliminated from the Southwest League/Intermountain League Tournament.
M-CHS finished its first season under first-year head coach Michael Hall with a 6-15 record.
Hall said the team will compete in several tournaments over the summer before returning to the court for official practices in Oct. of next year.
