Thursday, March 26

11:21 p.m. An officer pulled a vehicle over near South Harrison and West Third streets after discovering the vehicle didn’t have operating tail lights. Once the vehicle was pulled over, it was determined the male’s driving license had been revoked. He was arrested, and a meth pipe was discovered in the vehicle.

Friday, March 27

3:10 p.m. One person was arrested at a local big box store after walking out with $189 in merchandise without paying for it. The man selected a fishing pole, bait, hooks, fishing reel, fishing line and some fresh fruit. He told police he just wanted to go fishing and didn’t have the money to pay for the goods.

9:14 p.m. An officer observed a truck speeding on East Main Street and then turn into a parking lot so fast that he left skid marks. When the officer stopped behind the truck, a male jumped out. The officer ordered him to show his hands, and he complied. The male was ordered back into the truck and handcuffed. A check showed that the driver had a felony warrant in New Mexico and was considered armed and dangerous. He was transported to the county jail.

Sunday, March 29

2:30 p.m. A coach for the M-CHS baseball team reported that someone stole 36 baseballs, three baseball bats and a Wiffle Ball bat from the team’s storage shed.
