Southwest Minors win district title, advance to state

The Southwest Minors All Star team celebrates winning the Colorado District 4 Championship on Thursday by beating Bayfield 13-3. The victory qualifies the Cortez-area Southwest team for the state tournament next weekend. The Juniors team starts its tournament at Parque de Vida at 5 p.m. Friday.
