Snow begins around tree line (12,000 feet), and rivers are still high. Popular trails like the Chicago Basin 14ers, the Continental Divide Trail and Vestal Basin are still snowed in and not recommended.

In Dolores, Fish Creek Trail has had slide damage, and horses are not recommended.

Campgrounds are open

Some roads on San Juan public lands are still blocked by snow and/or fallen trees. They include:

Pagosa: Chris Mountain Road 681, Mosca Road at 9.5 miles

Dolores: Scotch Creek 550, and Black Mesa 611.

West Fork 535 past Dunton: Unable to pull trailers beyond the Navajo Lake trailhead due to road damage.
